  Added

  • feature:release --dry-run rehearses a release (version, channel gate, lint, tests, contract, build) and stops before anything irreversible. --bump major|minor|patch picks the version non-interactively.
  • Features can be released, pinned and installed under a PyPI distribution name of their own ([project].name), with the import package unchanged.
  • feature:create writes the README.md that the scaffolded pyproject.toml names.

  Changed

  • The release channel github is now forge (--no-forge). Stored github settings and --no-github still work.
  • check:forge replaces the GitHub check and reads SPLENT_FORGE_USER.
  • spl:add-feature and related commands edit the SPL working copy (splent_spl_<name>/) and never the cached model, creating the working copy if needed.
  • The contract freshness check ignores migrations/, tests/, __pycache__ and node_modules, so a new migration no longer makes feature:xray report the contract as stale.
  • product:run --dev waits for the web server. A product restart reuses its dev image, and derive no longer rebuilds it every time.
  • Requires splent_framework 1.15.1.

  Fixed

  • While production is deployed, the CLI builds the app from .env.deploy instead of failing with "SECRET_KEY must be set in production". Commands that would write to the production database refuse to run.
  • Files the CLI writes (deploy files, migrations, scaffolds, backups, fetched models, atomic writes) belong to the workspace's owner instead of root.
  • feature:release reads the released version from the repository it pushes to.
  • make setup noise on a new workspace, a leftover splent_network, and the npm upgrade notice.
